I established A Purrfect Way Pet Sitting Service in 2000
with my husband, Mike. I have a Bachelor's Degree from
St. Mary's College of Maryland and worked for many years
in the field of Social Services. In the year 2000, I
decided to pursue my true passion and combine my life-long
love of animals with my human services background. I
actually began informally pet sitting at age 12 when I
watched the pets of neighbors and friends and cared for
their houses while they were on vacation.
Mike, an animal lover from a very young age,
whole-heartedly supported the concept of establishing
southern Calvert County's FIRST professional pet sitting
service. A Purrfect Way Pet Sitting Service is a dream
come true for us! I do most of the pet sitting assignments
and Mike will help me during peak times in summer and
major holidays. We are a husband and wife team--we do
NOT hire employees...so your pets are always cared for by
the same people...the owners of the company!

| In our free time, Mike and I enjoy spending time with our 3 cats and various hobbies. Mike is a very talented woodworker and he makes items that I decorate with painting and wood-burning designs. We spend some time in the fall and around the holidays selling our woodcrafts at local craft shows. |
